Joyscape.com -> Joy-Scape.com

If you’re a regular reader you’ll remember this post: "Joyscape – Another One Bites The Dust?"

Well SBC received this comment last night:
joy-scape.com is indeed gone, but some enthousiast [sic] have started a new community for adult bloggers called joy-scape.com
The main reason for joyscape.com to disappear is that the partners are separated and the Main owner didn't profit in the huge amounts of data bloggers generated.
The new joy-scape.com offers a standard 50mb webspace, 40 templates and some more features, it can be checked at the frontpage.

Thanks Alex. I remember when I first started that I ended up getting a huge amount of traffic from their site.

After the last month or so of Joyscape, I have to add that it's nothing special, completely unlike the original site in terms of referrals. This new site is dismal, and is bloated with trashy porn sites, so there are few blogs that make the updated list of 100 blogs. They all get pushed aside by other trashy porn sites hogging the space, most of them adding five entries at a time. I rarely see any of the usual blogs on their lists at any one time.

Bloggers are better off using adultbloghub, and that's not to promote one site, but I'd be lucky to average one referral a fortnight from Joyscape (and I update on a daily basis).

"A Blogger" I wish you'd not commented anonymously, it's always nice to know who commentors are. this is I hope a place where we can all speak freely. But anonymity is a bloggers right and so I have to respect that.

Anyway, the view you express is interesting. It's becoming more and more difficult to find resources/listings to promote your blog. As you say most are overrun by commercial porn sites and many seem abandoned, unmanaged and lacking in imagination. Joy-scape is as you say nothing approaching the old joyscape, which is a pity as it fails to differentiate itself from the rest of the promo/hosting sites out there.

The slow lingering death of Blogstormz since March to its final demise a couple of days ago is just another example.

Anyway, thanks for your views and if you find any other useful resources be sure to let us know.
