Sexism within sex Bloggers
OK, the title is sensationistic.
There is not sexism within sex bloggers, however a blog which features pictures of women drags the reader in far more easily than one which does not.
I have no desire to fill my pages with pictures as my thing is writing.
Has anyone else noticed this?

I see your point, but in my opinion, it's due to the raw nature of sex itself. It's an age-old addage that sex sells. I don't know if that's particularly rooted in sexism per say, but rather, us guys tend to think with our dicks. Always have, always will. I'm weird, so I prefer to read about it than to see it, actually. I have a very active imagination.
Quality not just quantity of images is good ;)
We believe that a woman's body is a work of art while a man's body is utilitarian, so that is why a blog with photos of women will draw more traffic than a blog with photos of men. You could describe this as a sexist concept, although we don't identify ourselves as sexist.
Regarding the photos vs. text issue, we currently live in a highly visual society that doesn't read as much as it did a few generations ago. You could try building your audience by posting some photos and hoping that some visitors will stay for the text.
I think blogs with pictures tend to do better generally.
It's an interesting question though. As a straight woman, my interest in looking at other women is minimal. But if you want to see pictures of men, then you're pretty much limited to queer blogs. I do find all the female eyecandy on straight blogs pretty tedious.
It's something I intend to address on my new blog. But I don't even know if there's an audience for it.
Anyone home?
I'm aware of it. And I cater to the preference a bit. Pictures aren't really my thing, so the images I choose while featuring nudity aren't the most graphic.
Pictures are another form of expression - just because it isn't your way doesn't mean that it isn't valid or as profound. Obviously there is truth behind the phrase: 'A picture is worth a thousand words.'
I've found many blogs with male photos - you just have to try harder. And what's wrong with the men in the photos being queer - you appreciate it all the same don't you?
I think thic blog has nice picture expressions.and You could describe this as a sexist concept, although we don't identify ourselves as sexist.
